Held on a beautiful Saturday Morning and Afternoon in Downtown New Roads,LA. This family event featured 38 fabulous antique cars on display, many artists and craftsmen presenting their wares and of course the great Antique shops and restaurants of downtown New Roads.
At left we see Pottery demonstrations provided by Shamrock Studios.

First place winner in the auto show was Jessie Thornburg with his 1956 Ford Thunderbird. Jesse and several other T-birds came from the New Orleans area to join the show in New Roads.

|
Shown at left is the second place car owned by Ernie Cassimus. This is a slick 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS.
The third place auto was another T-Bird, a 1956 owned by George D'Antoni.
Fourth place was a '54 hudson owned by Wayne Babin and fifth place was a '63 Impala owned by C. J. Ringo.

Event co-ordinator was Sharon Morgan, New Roads Main Street Director. Auto show cordinator was Charlee Braud. Event Sponsors were espresso etc, Fleur de Lis Antiques, Merle Norman Cosmetics, Ma Mama's Kitchen, Heritage Antiques, The Veranda & Company, Morels Restaurant and Inn, Satterfields Riverwalk, Roy's Jewelry Store, Z'affaires Gifts and Stuff.
